I’ve been treated for an aggressive form of prostate cancer over the past year. It’s too soon to know whether I’ll need more treatment. So for now, I’m still a patient. Owen’s liver failed two springs ago, suddenly and for no apparent reason. He has since mostly recovered, and is in his sophomore year at Dartmouth College. But he’s still a patient, too.
